PRODUCTION VIEWS:

Artist Dorothy Fowler and Msgr Ribble pictured next to a sculpted clay tympanum. The bronze doors being polished.
Valley Bronze artisan works on the door frame fabrication. One of the engineering challenges in this project was designing door frames and hinges that could support the heavy weight of each door. Fowler inspects a bronze tympanum prior to patina.
Fowler examines the bronze relief panels before they are inset into the door frames. This pair of bronze doors have been lightly sandblasted and are ready for patina.
Master patineur Dennis Brennan applies coloring agents to the bronze of a tympanum and then rubs into areas to bring out highlights.
